To use French real estate data in Claude, add the Normi connector from Claude's connector directory (claude.ai/directory/normi). Claude opens a secure sign-in to Normi (OAuth, Google or a Normi account): no key to copy, nothing to configure. Claude can then query 18.1 million geocoded DVF sales, ADEME energy diagnoses and the BDNB building database to value a property, compare cities or measure how energy ratings move prices.

What Claude can do with Normi
Normi exposes more than thirty specialised tools. You don't need to know them: describe what you are after, Claude runs the queries and answers with the figures and their sources.
Value a property
“Value a 65 m² flat on rue de la République in Lyon 2e and show me the comparable sales.”
A low, median and high range built from the nearest comparable DVF sales, with the estimate's confidence level.
Property valuation (FR) →Price per m² by town or district
“What was the median price per m² for flats in Nantes in 2025, by postcode?”
Medians, quartiles and sales volumes by commune, postcode, arrondissement or radius around an address.
Market statistics (FR) →Trends and city comparison
“Compare how prices moved in Rennes, Angers and Tours since 2019.”
Monthly, quarterly or yearly series and side-by-side comparison of several areas, with a market health score.
Foreign investor guide →Energy ratings and poorly insulated homes
“What discount do F and G rated homes sell at in Bordeaux, compared with A and B?”
Energy class distribution, green premium and the discount on poorly insulated homes, measured on sales matched to their DPE.
Joining DVF, DPE and BDNB →Rental yield
“What gross yield can I expect for a one-bedroom flat in Lille, and in which districts is it highest?”
Gross yield estimated from DVF sale prices and reference rents, by commune or by area.
Rental yield (FR) →History of an address
“Which sales happened at 12 rue Oberkampf in Paris since 2014?”
Sales of an address or a cadastral parcel, building characteristics (construction year, materials, heating) and quick resales.
Property history (FR) →The data behind the answers
- DVF (DGFiP)
- 18.1 million property sales, 2014–2025, cleaned and geocoded. Bulk sales and off-plan sales are set apart so statistics reflect the resale market.
- DPE (ADEME)
- 23.5 million energy diagnoses, matched to sales to measure the price gap between classes.
- BDNB (CSTB)
- 32.2 million buildings: construction year, materials, heating.
- SIRENE (INSEE)
- 3 million real estate businesses (agencies, notaries, developers) by location.
Security and privacy
- OAuth sign-in: Normi never sees your Claude password, and Claude never receives a Normi key.
- Normi sees neither your files nor your conversations: only the parameters passed to its tools reach it.
- All data comes from French public open data.
- Revoke any time: Normi dashboard → Tokens → Connected apps → Revoke.
- Normi is a community connector in the Claude directory, built by Normi, not by Anthropic.

FAQ
Normi and Claude: frequently asked questions
How do I add Normi to Claude?
Open the Normi listing in Claude's connector directory (https://claude.ai/directory/normi), click to add it, then sign in to Normi and authorise Claude. It takes under a minute and needs no code and no API key.
Is Normi free in Claude?
Every Normi account gets 500 free credits a month, no card required. Each tool call uses credits according to its complexity. For heavier use, top-ups and plans are available at normi.fr/pricing. Your Claude subscription itself is handled by Anthropic.
Do I need an API key to use Normi in Claude?
No. The connection uses OAuth: you sign in to Normi and authorise Claude, which receives a revocable token. If you don't have an API key yet, one is created on your first authorisation.
Does the connector work in the Claude mobile app and Claude Desktop?
Yes. The connector is tied to your Claude account: once added on claude.ai, it is available in Claude Desktop, the mobile app and Cowork. Claude Code is set up separately, with the claude mcp add command.
Which real estate data can Claude access through Normi?
DVF sales from 2014 to 2025 (price, floor area, property type, geocoded address), ADEME energy performance diagnoses, the CSTB's BDNB building database and real estate businesses from the SIRENE register. DVF is published once a year by the DGFiP, so the most recent sales are not available yet.
Can Normi see my conversations with Claude?
No. Normi only receives the parameters of the tools Claude calls (a town, a floor area, a period), never your conversation history or your files.
How do I disconnect Normi from Claude?
Either remove the connector in Claude's settings, or revoke access on the Normi side from Dashboard → Tokens → Connected apps. Revocation takes effect on the next call.
Is Normi an official Anthropic connector?
Normi is a community connector published in Claude's directory. It passed the directory's automated reviews, but it is built and maintained by Normi, not by Anthropic.
